What you’ll learn
Each module includes fun, hands‑on activities, simple practice exercises, and ready‑to‑use templates that help you build real skills step by step. Every week, you’ll join a live session where you can try things out, get guidance, and connect with other youth going through the program.
-
Get comfortable with the digital tools you’ll use throughout the program — like Excel, Word, Gmail, and Google Workspace. You’ll also learn communication basics and key nonprofit terms, all in a relaxed, beginner‑friendly environment.
-
Build confidence with hands‑on practice using spreadsheets, documents, email, and file organization. By the end of the week, you’ll feel ready to handle the everyday tasks used in school clubs, youth programs, and community projects.
-
Discover how nonprofits work and how they make an impact in communities. You’ll also build practical skills like communication, time management, and teamwork — all essential for volunteering, internships, and future jobs.
-
Learn how nonprofits raise money, connect with donors, and manage important data. You’ll try out grant research, donor communication, and CRM tools through fun, youth‑friendly activities and apply what you learn to a real or simulated project.
-
Explore how programs are run behind the scenes — from organizing volunteers to tracking progress and measuring impact. You’ll create simple dashboards, practice reporting skills, and finish your project to share at Demo Day.
